The realisation that even frequent prosecco drinkers struggled to recall a single brand of prosecco led us to the creation of Midas. We’ve worked tirelessly to create a memorable brand that people can trust, leaving no stone unturned in our search for the perfect liquid.

Dionysus, the god of wine, granted King Midas’ wish of turning anything he touched to gold. Having almost lost his loved ones to his power, King Midas soon learned that true wealth isn‘t gold or possessions, but love and experiences.

King Midas’ golden fingerprints are the distinguished mark of every bottle, along with a signature of his approval. The thumbprint not only represents King Midas, but is also an amalgamation of the three co-founders own thumbprints.

From harvest to bottling, Midas is produced in our single estate vineyard in Friuli, for complete control and consistent quality throughout.

Our vines, in rows refreshed by the sea breezes of the Adriatic, wend their way over soils able to impart unique characteristics in our grapes, featuring a rich combination of clay and limestone. For this reason, the soil can be considered a genuine "Cru".

We combine natural, sustainable and rarely used cultivation methods with modern, tried and tested production technology. Only the best quality, perfectly stable grapes are chosen for production, each one carefully selected for its acidity and sweetness.

An extended fermentation with perfect grapes yields higher levels of natural preservatives, eliminating the need to add sulphites.

Midas has a net-zero carbon footprint, funds climate projects to offset excess emissions, and uses 100% recyclable materials. No herbicides or pesticides are used on the vines, and almost all electricity in our vineyard is generated from solar panels.
